Background
Since 2016 Federica Borso co-founded LPO and since 2020 she is a stable part of the team of Dike Schindhelm, as a lawyer Of Counsel.
She is a member of the Groupe de Travail Contrats Internationaux – GTCI (since 2001), directed by prof. Filip De Ly of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She was also a member of the International Contracts Working Group sponsored by Unindustria Treviso. She is a member of UGIVI - Unione dei Giuristi della Vite e del Vino (since 2020). She participates as a speaker at seminars and training events.
She was partner of Dike Schindhelm in Bologna (2012-2015) a member of the international Schindhelm Alliance and she collaborated with Morresi law firm in Bologna, Treviso (1999-2011), with Allen & Overy in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (2001) the Facchetti law firm in Treviso (1996-1999) and the Laghi e Tabacchi law firm in Treviso (1995-1996).
She is admitted to bar (since 1998) and registered with the Treviso Bar Association (since 1995).
She studied law at the University of Bologna where she graduated (1995) with a thesis in commercial law / EU antitrust law entitled “Gli accordi di specializzazione e cooperazione con particolare riguardo alla Francia” [Specialisation and cooperation agreements particularly with regard to France]; she also studied and at the University of Poitiers, France, where she was an Erasmus student (1993-1994). She is expanding her training in wine law and has participated in a Master's degree in this field (2019).
She was an AFS student in Heidelberg, Germany (1987-1988).

Federica Borso assists Italian and foreign companies in the area of national and international contracts and provides legal consulting services to support the business, particularly in the mechanical, electronic, construction and fashion industry.
She has specific experience in the field of legal outsourcing, providing outsourced legal function to SMEs and large companies, including international groups, also as in-house interim lawyer.
She has a long-standing experience and expertise in the area of commercial relations between Italian companies and companies from the DACH area.
She has provided legal assistance in several domestic and international M&A transactions, also in the framework of insolvency or restructuring procedures.
She assists in the protection of IP, including defence before ordinary courts, the UIBM (Italian Patent Office) and the EUIPO.

- Legal assistance in favour of important automobile producers in connection with business rental agreements with distressed suppliers with a view to safeguarding the production as well as in the area of litigation with suppliers.
- Legal assistance in favour of the buyer in the framework of an important M&A transaction in the sanitary industry.
- Continuous assistance in favour of a SME with particular regard to the handling of situations of business crises and drafting of the documents for admission to insolvency procedures.
