Background

Dieter Duursma has worked at Saxinger Chalupsky and Partner in Linz since 2001, initially as an associate and then, after passing his law exam in 2004, as a research assistant.

Between 1997 and 2001, he was an assistant at the Institute for Constitutional Law and Political Sciences at the University of Linz under Professor Ordinarius Dr. Herbert Schambeck. For his dissertation entitled “Merger Control of Banks”, he was awarded the Leopold Kunschak Prize and the Research Prize of the Dr. Pfeifauf Foundation.

Dieter Duursma has been a lecturer at the universities of applied sciences in Hagenberg and Steyr since 2005.
