Dr. Ulrich Teich
After completing his studies at the universities in Heidelberg, Oxford and Würzburg, he obtained his J.D. (Dr. jur.) at the University of Würzburg. He fulfilled his legal clerkship in Munich. After this he was a partner in various law firms.
As of January 2016, Dr. Ulrich Teich has joined SCHINDHELM Düsseldorf.
He was adjunct professor for Chinese Economic Law at the University Duisburg-Essen from 1992 – 2006.
Dr. Ulrich Teich advises shareholders, managing directors and executives of German and foreign companies. He is responsible for issues in connection with corporate law, trade law, sales and distribution law, as well as labour law. He particularly focuses on Chinese and other Asian companies as well as entrepreneurs either interested in setting up a subsidiary or in acquiring a company in Germany.
For the past 10 years, he has helped more than 150 companies get established in Germany, by addressing pertinent questions in connection with corporate law and contract law, and as an expert in German immigration law, he provides support to the company's managers, their employees and their respective families in connection with the application for residency and work permits, and with the process of naturalization, if desired .
In addition to this, he has dealt intensively with investment projects of German companies in China and Asia. Currently his major focus is on environmental and energy projects as well as infrastructure issues in Hong Kong, China and Asia, whereby he works in cooperation with specialized engineering consulting companies in Germany as well as in Hong Kong and China.

- Advising Chinese investors in connection with the acquisition of companies or company shares in Germany, currently focusing on infrastructure issues and energy as well as environmental technology.
- International arbitration procedures in the field of trade and company law (ICC International Chamber of Commerce, Paris; CIETAC China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Beijing; Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Stockholm; DIS German Institution of Arbitration, Köln- Berlin).
